Cooking with Love

“There is no love sincerer than the love of food.” ― George Bernard Shaw

Love is one of life’s greatest gifts. It is universal and can be shown in different ways. Cooking and sharing tasty food with my friends and family is a display of my love.

My friends and family love and enjoy food as much as I do, so I always hear the questions “ what did you cook?” and “ what are you cooking?”. Someone is always asking me to either make them a dish or teach them how to make a dish. It can be a bit overwhelming at times, but it is also a lovely connection.

My process of cooking is thought out carefully as spices, herbs and ingredients are matched purposefully to create an unforgettable taste and ambiance; its look and presentation has to be right also to capture those hearts. Cooking is an intimate process to me and is similar to building a loving relationship. When I’m giving someone my food I am giving them a little piece of my heart.
